Artwork Story: The sculpture embodies the mother’s love to the child she is holding. It is unclear if the child is part of the mother or sitting on her, but in either case, they are inseparably connected. The sculpture belongs to the solid sculpture style, massive shapes enclosing air spaces with their own shapes. It is an artistic play between fullness and emptiness. The sculpture in its smaller version can be on a coffee table or in a rectangular recess in a wall. In its large version it is 4 meters long, suitable for children to play on, as one can see in the Victor Halvani Sculpture Park in Safed and in the gardens of private collectors. The large sculpture is suitable for public gardens, a large private garden or a city square.
