Artwork Story: “And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became four heads” (Genesis 2:10) This artwork was inspired by the abundance, with which nature provides for human beings, for which we should be endlessly appreciative and grateful. The sculpture depicts an ordinary day in the Garden of Eden, with Adam and Eve sipping from the water of the fountain. Water is the hidden element in the sculpture, but our imagination adds it. Many see in this sculpture a loving couple under the canopy in the sacredness of their wedding ceremony.
